Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.
The Gŵyl Glyn Cothi Festival is a new and exciting (Free to enter) 2-day Festival to
celebrate local Arts, Crafts, Music and Food. Organised by local crafts people
and artists and having received a set up grant from the Brechfa Wind Turbine
Fund, we hope that this will be the first of an exciting and dynamic annual event.
Our aim is to bring together local artists to showcase their work,
and for members of the public and community to appreciate and share in the
festival activities. The festival will include craft and art stalls in Brechfa Church Hall, food stalls and various craft and cooking workshops and
demonstrations, buskers and musicians in Victoria Community Park.
Brechfa Village Trust will be selling refreshments to raise funds
for ongoing improvements and maintenance to the park. Ty Mawr, our local hotel
will be open for high teas and The Forest Arms, our local pub, will be serving their lunch menu.
A highlight of the festival will be the Open Studios, an
opportunity for people to visit local makers of willow work, ceramics, textile
art and ironwork to see them at work or take part, all within about 2.5 miles

Please note, whist we all love dogs, the Brechfa Church Hall and Victoria Park only allowed "assistance dogs" into the venues.
